Virtuality Casts James D'Arcy as Outer Space Shrink

D'Arcy, 22, made a good impression on Fox execs last year when he appeared with Tricia Helfer in a never-aired sci-fi pilot called Them. D'Arcy also held his own against Russell Crowe in seafaring adventure Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, and during his teen years worked regularly on British television
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Peter Berg will direct Virtuality's two-hour pilot. The edgy filmmaker also helmed the upcoming Hancock superhero flick and produces ABC's small-town soap opera Friday Night Lights.
